Tweed needed to drive traffic to their retail stores across Canada. Not an easy task when restrictive legislation makes it next to impossible for cannabis brands to talk about what they sell.
We worked around the red (green?) tape by promoting the one product we could: Tweed’s incredibly knowledgeable, personable and energetic staff. By putting friendly, local faces to the brand name, we helped make cannabis seem more approachable to the average consumer and broke down some of the stigma around buying it.
We ran regional age-gated cinema, web and social videos in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland. In the first week of the campaign, our quirky Tweedtender videos helped increase Tweed.com Find a store clicks by 69% and well outperformed the client’s click-to-call benchmarks.
